This page contains a men’s jewelry collection that was made using handcrafted techniques and design applications. The information presented below includes a statement on the collection, photographs of the jewelry pieces, a breakdown of the materials used, and a brief explanation on the construction process along with design inspiration.
Through the construction of the pieces below, I learned to apply staple jewelry making techniques like beading, knotting, and wire manipulation in a detailed manner. With this experience I was able to create jewelry using Rhino 6 design software which I then 3D printed as well as rendered using and the rendering feature on the Rhino 6 program. Additionally, this collection gave an opportunity to hone my photography skills through the placement of items, use of lighting, and photoshop editing abilities.
Lost in thought is my default state of mind… as a designer I am always looking at the details no matter how small. This constant search for defining characteristics leads my design process with end results that range from intricate wiring to clean finishes that are innovative while elegant. Happiness and dedication are behind every piece with the hope that they will bring joy and wonder to people who stop to look. With a focus on quality materials and construction, I strive to make every piece feel special.

Using Rhino 6 software to create jewelry pieces gave me a strong understanding of how convert measurements like inches to millimeters. I learned to design with 3D software to create pieces that are true to size/shape. Using this software also allowed me to use a 3D printer to bring my designs to life.
Cuff Bracelet

This cuff bracelet was Three- dimensionally designed by starting with a group of flat shapes. These shapes were then extruded using software commands. The star shapes were added using a single hole tool. The edges are done with a chamfer edge finish.

Rendered in Titanium, this bracelet features the outline of a slithering serpent with a starry sky as the background. The chamfer finish creates smooth round edges that are comfortable against the skin.
